Thank you for taking time to read our Story.
In 2015 I took a trip to the Phillipines. A beautiful country and people but with heartbreaking poverty, living conditions and so many children vulnerable and without food, shelter or parents able to provide for them. As I witnessed this first hand, my heart broke and not having a family of my own, I knew I had to do something to protect these children from hunger, disease and worst of all Predators that would take them and use them as slaves or worse.
As my own funds are limited, it is necessary to devise a plan and build a business that can provide the income required to not only build our Orphanage but to also employ dedicated staff, pay day-to-day running expenses, educational supplies and services.
Fast forward to today and after many further trips to the Philippines, my partner and I (working with local councils) have an option on 1 Hectare of a Coconut Plantation in Victoria, Northern Samar, Philippines. With this small piece of land we will fund our Guardian Angels Orphanage! The Farm will be a learning farm helping the local community, teaching how to maximise their own harvest while protecting the trees, the land and our environment. The land has 140 producing coconut trees that is being used for crude oil, but we go much further. We will use the husk, shell, water, milk and flesh for Organic Products. We have a natural spring running through the land for which we shall divert a small volume of the water for growing Tilapia in an Environmentally friendly Aquaponics system. We will also diversify our crops with Pineapple and Mango. Through this business model, we will feed, shelter, educate and love as many children as we are able. This will be a NON-PROFIT Organisation.
As a Kiwi, I am proud to share my expertise and experience in such a worthwhile manner, I hope you join us in our journey.
We Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your consideration to donate to this incredible, worthwhile project.
